There came from the ocean the people of Aeraeo,
From the sea-elves Aeraeo came many a haeol,
Then from a haeol came a boy named Aeran,
Who sang such sweet songs as the ocean herself.
His voice wove the waters as weavers might winde,
Creating the pictures of places long past,
And all of the peoples would still-swim and listen,
So Aeran sang in motion and stillness.
One ear among many belonged to a god,
Whose mind was enchanted with voice and with song,
As such that his tears were joined to the sea,
This god then gave Aeran three tasks to complete.
The first was to take the pup of a sea-wolf,
To name and tame him, eschewing all aid,
So this newlyborn orca was known to be Yaelan,
Who became Aerans shadow once he was grown.
The second of tasks was to mirror a trident,
Given only one glance only at the subject itself,
And with the help of the creatures, this task was completed,
But the gods anger at Aeran then boiled the ocean.
The third task, then was to take up the trident,
And then to also take up the mantle of godhood,
So Aeran and Yaelan still roam the wide waters,
But his voice has been lost in a fountain of bitterness.

In dreams, the world shines so much brighter.
In reality, the world becomes so much more.
In truth, love is where those worlds collide,
Where those worlds combine to let you soar.
